About Us
National Child Care Connection is a service committed to providing parents with a large array of childcare options from which to choose for their most precious possession...their children. The childcare business is not any different than most other industries in that some organizations provide excellent service while others do not.
Our hope is to encourage improvement and professionalism in childcare facilities throughout the United States.
Our Child Care Provider referral service is designed to enable parents to experience the peace of mind that comes with the ability to do an online review of childcare facilities. This service will help families find what they are looking for in childcare, whether they are searching for a local change in providers or looking for a new provider after being transferred to a new city or state.

Owner’s Vision:
As a child care provider for much of my life, I am concerned about the quality of care being provided to our children. As an assessor and mentor for facilities in Idaho, I spend time helping other programs to improve their settings and environments for the children in their care. As the mother of 3 young boys, I relate to the concerns parents have when it comes time to locate and choose a childcare facility for their children. My vision for National Child Care Connection is to facilitate parents in locating child care that best fits their needs in a time efficient manner. A 24/7 web based resource will help meet that need. Whether parents are looking to switch child care locally or are moving from one location to another, National Child Care Connection will help facilitate the process. The goal is to have child care listings and web sites to view from coast to coast in nearly every city in the country.
Owner’s Profile:
I graduated with a Business Economics degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Soon after, I worked as a Medical Representative for Gerber Products Company teaching pediatricians about the critical aspects of nutrition for infants and toddlers. Upon the birth of my first son, I decided to return to college to study Early Childhood Education. My experience at school sparked a passion within me to pursue a career working with young children. I opened and operated a child care facility in California where I was director and provider for over ten years before moving to the state of Idaho where I have owned and directed a childcare facility ever since. I am a long time member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and my local Chamber of Commerce. My passion for children has led to my involvement in agencies that work to improve facilities in my local area. I have become an assessor and mentor for childcare facilities in the state of Idaho. I now work with Idaho Fish and Game to facilitate the teaching of early childhood providers with regards to concepts relating to wildlife, conservation and the outdoors for early learners. There is nothing I’d rather do than make the early years of childhood filled with fun in a safe and educational environment.
My highest priority is to be instrumental in improving the quality of care for ALL children by working on raising the quality of the childcare industry as a whole. ALL children have the right to be safely and lovingly cared for in whatever child care environment in which they are raised.
